Mercy is a Program Associate with IREDD and currently manages one of the institution’s Natural Resource Governance projects funded by OSIWA. On this project, she works to build the capacity of community monitors drawn from local Community Based Organizations to monitor efficiency, transparency and accountability in service delivery. Before this, she managed and provided assistance to other projects across IREDD’s different strands of endeavors.
Prior to joining IREDD as a staff, Mercy has also been involved with national research projects such as the National Population Housing Census and the Liberia Demographic Health Survey. Her career began as a Cadet with the National Investment Commission with unspecified tasks. She would later be fully employed as a Receptionist to the Chairman’s office. In a short while, she got promoted as a Protocol Officer in the same department with additional responsibilities that included managing all protocol related services.
Mercy is a team builder and possesses leadership skills that motivate team work for best results. She holds a BA. in Sociology from the African Methodist Episcopal University.
