IREDD calls for the seizure and sale of sanctions and designated Liberia`s Government officials` properties without delay.
On Thursday, August 18, 2022, the IREDD held a news conference in support of the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) report on three Senior government officials: Nathaniel McGill, Sayma Syrenius Cephus, and Bill Twehway.
Although the IREDD has acknowledged President George M. Weah’s initiated effort of suspending the three officials but calls on President Weah to immediately dismal, seize and sell the properties of the three officials to serve as a deterrent for other public officials who are involved in corruption.
