Who We Are

Our mission is to make democracy work for the people of Liberia and the region at large by ensuring duty bearers create the platform for unhindered participation of Liberians, to help citizens claim a stake in democratic debates and dialogue, and to advocate for the functioning of the state and its functionaries. We are doing so through various initiatives:

• Accountability in the Legislature
• Monitoring National Elections
• Promoting Coexistence and Peace
• Democratic Elections in West Africa
• Natural Resource Utilization Monitoring
• Researching the attainment of good governance and economic governance (the Afrobarometer Initiative)
